About
Founded in 1901, the university now has a student community of over 4,000 at undergraduate, postgraduate, research and employer engagement levels. Specialising in agriculture, food science, agricultural engineering, bio veterinary science, veterinary nursing, rural land management and environmental science, 100% of its research is recognised as internationally significant (REF 2015).
The University has an outstanding reputation; in the last year alone it has been in the top 3 in 7 out of 9 WhatUni? Awards, achieved 96% for graduate employability and 93% for student satisfaction, and is a top 50 university in the Sunday Times University Guide. Although one of the smallest it is one of the most influential in the markets in which it operates, working with over 700 business and with links around the world.
