Becoming a Member

Since joining as a ‘Seedling’ level membership, the support that Agri-TechE has been able to offer us has been invaluable, particularly as a new start-up without a large network in Agriculture.

The membership has helped us accelerate our knowledge of key organisations relevant to our work, and the diverse events that we have attended so far have introduced us to some key partners, expanded our understanding of different funding mechanisms as well as facilitating media exposure that has allowed us to reach a wider audience.

Being part of the network has been massively helpful for us and is always the first thing I recommend to others trying to make their way in the sector!

For Anglia Capital Group, East Anglia’s leading angel investor group, becoming a member of Agri-TechE was an excellent decision well made.

Originally, the decision was made to join because some of our angel investors come from an agricultural background, and therefore harbour an interest in investment deals from the agri-tech sector. But the benefits of becoming a member of the group have far outweighed what we initially expected!

Belinda Clarke has been a fantastic source of exciting and varied investment opportunities, and the access to a wide range of interesting and educating events with fantastic networking opportunities has been invaluable to our business.

Hutchinsons joined Agri-TechE in 2014, and I have been involved since early 2017. Technology and Innovation is all about networking and looking beyond your business and the industry for solutions that could benefit growers.

Agri-TechE has provided a dynamic forum for ideas and connecting people both in and out of the industry. Fundamentally, collaborations and technology must provide a benefit to growers and our business, whether that’s efficiency, productivity or ultimately profitability.

Agri-TechE has worked to foster a strong community of diverse, forward-thinking and passionate AgriTech organisations of which we are proud members. The extensive network of Agri-TechE has provided IGS with greater insights into the wider industry and helped us forge strong relationships.

The regular events and opportunities provided to members have also been very useful to IGS. Despite AgriTechE being a UK organisation, membership has also enabled IGS to continue to build our global network, forging invaluable connections across the industry and beyond.
