Agri-TechE's September Newsletter

In the month that Defra's £233m Sustainable Farming Incentive budget was snapped up in less than six hours and the UK's first precision-bred banana received a marketing notice moving it a step closer to commercialisation, September offered another reminder that both agricultural policy and innovation are moving at pace.

In the land of events, the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit returned to London, bringing together investors, innovators and policymakers to discuss the future of food and farming. Agri-TechE joined the conversation by hosting a reception on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, with a new agri-tech carousel showcase, welcomed founders, funders and industry leaders to Focus on Finance, and watched REAP registrations continue to gather momentum.

Read on for the latest agri-tech news, events and opportunities from across the Agri-TechE ecosystem.
