Demo Day – Soils and Water Management

Demo Day – Soils and Water Management

We’re taking technology out to the farm.

Join us at Elveden Estate as we take a walk round the farm with Managing Director Andrew Blenkiron. This event will be focusing on solutions for soil and water management; vital in the driest part of the UK.

We’ll then be hearing from a selection of technologists either through demonstrations or pitches, focused around innovations in this area. We’ll round out the day with some structured networking.

You can expect to meet other farmers interested in technologies to support soils health and water management alongside technologists with both commercially available solutions and opportunities to partner on tests or trials of new products.

Is your technology ready to be deployed by farmers, or are you looking to trial a new product infield? If you’re working in soil moisture, irrigation, or water management, this is your chance to demonstrate impact on the farm.

About Elveden Estates:

Elveden is a 22,500 acre country estate, of which over 10,000 acres is farmland. They are passionate about environmentally-responsible farming and work hard to ensure that biodiversity at Elveden thrives alongside their farming practices.

Elveden’s farm specialises in the production of vegetables, especially potatoes, onions, carrots and parsnips, which dominate their farming – around 6% of the UK’s onions are grown at Elveden! They also grow cereals such as rye, barley and wheat to balance the rotation, ensuring their soils remain fertile and productive for generations to come.
