Elsoms is based in Spalding in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens and the company can be split into four main business units: vegetables, agriculture, seed treatment, and breeding and trials. Across all these divisions customers will receive the same high level of expertise and support that Elsoms has become renowned for.

Most of the vegetable varieties Elsoms sells are bred by Bejo Zaden, whose products Elsoms proudly distribute in the UK. Other partners include Gautier Semences, whose salad species are marketed by Elsoms, and Holland Select, whose excellent range of bean varieties are distributed in the UK.

Their agricultural business unit, with continued investment in its UK plant breeding resources and strategic partnerships with European and American breeders, ensures Elsoms remains a significant force developing new agricultural varieties for UK farmers.

The company has also continued to make substantial investments in their plant breeding team and facilities, to help breed an even wider portfolio of varieties. These major investments have seen the site develop into a major plant breeding station with state-of-the-art facilities. In parallel to seed breeding Elsoms has also established a market leading seed priming and treatment operation which is now attracting significant processing contracts from across the industry.
