Innovation Manager
About the Job
The Innovation Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating PheroSyn’s technical innovation programmes from concept through to product readiness. Sitting at the interface of science, operations, and commercial strategy, the role provides programme‑level oversight across chemistry, formulation, entomology, scale‑up, trials, and regulatory workstreams. The Innovation Manager drives delivery against agreed milestones, manages externally funded and collaborative R&D programmes, ensures compliance with funder requirements, and translates complex technical activity into clear plans, risks, and decisions for senior leadership. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on governance, coordination, and delivery rather than laboratory execution.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Innovation Manager with a strong scientific background and proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary R&D programmes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at the interface of science, operations, and commercial delivery, with a track record of translating technical activity into clear plans, priorities, and decisions.
You will bring hands‑on experience managing externally funded or collaborative R&D projects, strong organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to provide programme‑level technical oversight without being lab‑based. You should thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment, be capable of coordinating diverse stakeholders, and be motivated by driving innovation through to real‑world impact in sustainable agriculture.
