The Opportunity: Become Our “Hunter”

This isn’t a traditional account management role. You will be the primary scout identifying and validating the next big markets for NoBACZ.

• Market Mapping: Conduct deep research to prioritize territories based on regulation, competitor landscapes, and unmet needs.
• Relationship Building: Act as the door opener with distributors, senior veterinary surgeons, and global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Rapid Innovation: Feed field insights back to our R&D team. With our 9–12 month innovation cycle, your discoveries in the field will directly shape our next product launches.
• Global Impact: Represent a range of products that have already demonstrated a 21% reduction in lamb mortality in major UK trials.

About You

What We’re Looking For

We need a proactive, resilient professional who thrives in the discovery phase of a business.

• Scientific Literacy: A grounding in the “bio-interface” world (biochemistry, agritech, or animal and human health) to maintain credibility with senior technical stakeholders.
• The “Hunter” Mindset: Experience generating commercial success from a standing start—you prefer building new networks over managing existing ones.
• Linguistic Versatility: Fluent English is essential; along with one other mainstream language (bonus points for Spanish, although this isn’t a pre-requisite).
• Global Agility: Comfortable with up to 30% international travel and the ambiguity of a fast-scaling startup.

NoBACZ Healthcare is an award-winning University of Cambridge spin-out on a mission to end the era of antibiotic reliance in animal health. We’ve developed a patented, biodegradable “second skin” technology that provides a waterproof microbial shield for livestock and horses, even in the most hostile farm environments.

With £4.8 million in recent funding and a commercial trajectory set to triple revenue next year, we are looking for a Business Discovery Lead to be the scout for our international expansion.
