Agri-Tech Meets...Space
A quiet revolution is happening on the farm: increasingly satellite-enabled technologies are steering tractors, directing the precision application of fertiliser, and mapping plant and soil health.
High-resolution satellite data augmented by drones is enabling early detection changes in crop health and prediction of yield; this type of information is invaluable for risk mitigation, and is just one illustration of the practical applications of space-tech in agriculture.
We'll be taking a look at state of the art in space, applications in agriculture, and a short showcase of farm-ready technologies and solutions that are space-tech enabled.
Over recent years we have seen how innovation at the intersections of different disciplines creates new business opportunities. This event is part of the Agri-Tech Meets...series.
This event is free to both Agri-TechE and Space East members. Agri-TechE members can login as usual to access the discount; Space East cluster organisations can use the discount code provided to them, or contact info@agri-tech-e.co.uk to get booked in.
Huge thanks to Space East for supporting this Agri-Tech Meets... event.
