Harnessing and rewarding farmer IP in collaborative partnerships

Harnessing and rewarding farmer IP in collaborative partnerships

Co-development and trials with farmers underpin successful adoption and scale, but how can they work in legal practice? Should you prepare for ending the agreement before you begin?

In this session we'll be looking at what to consider when building a collaborative agreement. In particular we'll be thinking about appreciating your value in a partnership as well as some of the potential pitfalls to be aware of. Points of consideration will include ownership of data, potential infringement of exisiting rights - such as those from your machinery manufacturer - and who bears the responsibility of security for new technology in the field.

This short webinar will allow both end users and technology developers to understand what questions to ask when forming a collaborative agreement for trials.
