Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture: Emerging Legal Challenges and Responsibilities
Use of AI across all businesses has exploded in recent years, but have you thought about the legal implications of using it? As concerns increase and questions around regulation are being raised, now is the time to be aware of the potential considerations of implementing AI in your business.
With Marks & Clerk, we’ll be considering the patentability of AI - and software-related inventions with reference to agri-tech and also the legal and liability issues around its use. We'll explore how AI-driven tools such as precision farming systems, autonomous machinery, and data analytics affect data exploitation across the agri-food supply chain.
Issues such as compliance, risk management, and how emerging regulations may impact operations, technology adoption and fairness and transparency across the industry. We’ll hear a couple of short presentations with plenty of time for Q&A in this half hour session.
