Translating Research into Impact – Agri-Tech Potential
Could your research help transform production by farmers? Would you like some support to help develop your science into a commercial reality?
We're excited to partner with Lincam to host a series of workshops designed to help you translate your research into impact, and you are warmly invited to begin the journey!
Featuring industry speakers to frame the challenges, you’ll be mentored and guided to develop a commercially relevant concept and pitch it to an expert panel. You’ll receive helpful feedback on your solution, and could be invited to further develop your idea and pitch to our Investment Committee for translational funding and further mentorship and support.
We’re looking for academics from different disciplines (including AI, machine learing, robotics, earth observation, hardware for sensor and monitoring solutions, water management etc) to fuse your ideas and research into these sectors:
- Friday, 31st January, 2025 - Potatoes [Cambridge, Hauser Forum]
- Friday, 28th February, 2025 - Cereals [University of Lincoln, Riseholme Campus]
- Thursday, 13th March, 2025 - Field vegetables [University of Lincoln, Riseholme Campus]
Interested to attend?
These all day workshops are FREE to attend with refreshments and lunch provided. If you'd like to be part of it, complete an Expression of Interest form here, and we'll be in touch in due course to confirm your place. Please note that places are limited, and an application does not guarantee acceptance on the event.
