Networking event and Celebration of Agri-TechE’s 10th Year
Agri-TechE is celebrating its 10th Birthday in 2024!
Join us at our celebration networking event to meet existing and new colleagues from the UK’s agri-tech community, and enjoy some “futurology” style reflections to help us all collectively prepare for the coming decade.
- What are the key consumer trends and how is the industry responding?
- Design the farming system of the future –how does it look?
- How will artificial intelligence benefit our industry? What do we need to think about as we transition into AI-enabled agriculture?
You’ll also be invited to build your own “Fantasy Farming Dream Team” as we hear from experts from the network who will highlight and celebrate the multi-disciplinarity of our amazing industry.
Put yourself in the shoes of a farmer or grower – or you may already be one. Who do you need to help you achieve success?
In a fast-paced and light-hearted format we’ll be hearing from industry experts who will each argue that they are the ones to choose in your Dream Team.
And, of course, there’ll be birthday cake (as well as lunch and refreshments).
We’d love you to join us for this celebration of a decade of your membership, helping to shape the agri-tech narrative and all that the ecosystem has collectively achieved.

Build your “Fantasy Farming Dream Team!”
Following a "balloon debate" format, we’ll be inviting you to take a light-hearted look at who you would have in your Dream Team for your fantasy farm. Put yourself in the shoes of a farmer or grower – or you may already be one. Who do you need in your team to achieve success?
You might choose a data expert, alongside someone to help you maximise the value of your land and access government support, and perhaps a scientist to keep your farm at the cutting edge of new knowledge. Or do you need an agronomist to keep your crops healthy and high yielding, a communications expert to showcase the brilliance of your business to the wider industry, and would you choose a recruitment expert to help you find the right staff?
In a fast-paced and light-hearted format we’ll be hearing from industry experts who will each argue that they are the ones to choose in your Dream Team.
