Rothamsted Enterprises have been an active member of Agri-Tech East since we were established in 2015. The collaboration between us and Agri-Tech East enables us to deepen the support that we offer to our own onsite community here at Rothamsted Enterprises.

The range of events they run, including those that have been hosted at Rothamsted Conference Centre and those hosted with other members, enable us to engage with our key audiences in a variety of different ways.

These include their pollinators, conferences, hackathons, farm tours, training courses and opportunities to exhibit at larger events such as CropTec and The Royal Norfolk Show. The most important event for us is the REAP Conference, where we sponsor The Start-Up Showcase. The Showcase highlights many great new ideas and businesses that are bringing new thinking to the world of agri-tech and these are exactly the types of people we want to engage with at Rothamsted Enterprises.

The content delivered at all Agri-Tech East’s events is at the cutting edge of agricultural technology and research and provides insights into issues and topics that are directly affecting agri-tech today.

Belinda, Becky, Laura and Fiona have been great at making introductions to other members, including their network of start-ups, entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors and scientists, as well as helping us to raise our profile amongst the agri-tech community in the East of England and further afield.
