Germains Seed Technology

Over the last 150 years, Germains Seed Technology has become one of the world’s largest independent seed technology companies. Providing industry-leading innovative seed technology, using the latest biological tools and techniques, Germains provides value added solutions to maximise the natural potential of seed in the field.

Their processing skills and equipment cover a multitude of crop species, from high value horticultural seed in lot sizes of just a few grams, to broad acre crops with process runs of many hundreds of tonnes.

Although Germains’ core capabilities lie within seed enhancement, their extensive assets and technologies are transferable and can be adapted to use within many other industries. Working collaboratively with customers to create bespoke solutions, Germains is always open to exploring new opportunities.

With facilities in the EU and US, they have the ability to support projects globally.

We must ensure there are young people coming into the industry and secure the future of farming for years to come. We look forward to welcoming the staff and students into our industry", said Germains Key Account Manager, Kerry Buttriss.
