Innovating towards One Agriculture – REAP is the flagship conference for Agri-Tech East.
Agri-Tech East is arguing that human health, animal health, ecosystems and food production are inextricably linked by best practice in farming. Healthy soils can help mitigate or acerbate the impacts of climate change. The choice of crop and its cultivation can determine if food production becomes vulnerable or resilient to disease risk and extreme weather events.
So is “One Agriculture” the answer? We think it might be.
Experts from different spheres will explore how the agri-food system of the 21st Century will require a combination of new technologies, improved knowledge, enabling policies and regulations, as well as collaborative, innovative thinking.
