PBD Biotech – has developed a novel phage-based technology that detects and identifies within hours live bacteria that cause diseases such as bovine TB and Johne’s disease/ParaTB/MAP.
Dogtooth Technologies – a Cambridge-based technology start-up building state-of-the-art intelligent robots for soft fruit picking.
Hummingbird Technologies – developed an innovative data analytics and artificial intelligence platform for the management of cereal crop health.
Small Robot Company – re-imagining farming in the robotic age by providing a service of small, precise and efficient robots that will replace the need for large machinery on the farm.
Farming Data – developing a digital platform that enables direct transactions between farmers and buyers through SMS and smartphone application.
FOLIUM Science – developed new technology that could eliminate or reduce the need for antibiotic use in the raising of farm animals.
Breedr – a productivity and marketing platform that is transforming the livestock supply-chain.
Nova Extraction – developed the world’s first industrial, off-grid, clean-tech extractor to extract flavours or fragrances from flowers, food and herbs in-field.
DryGro – studies and cultivates high-protein varieties, with a core aim of providing a sustainable animal feed alternative to soy.

The REAP Start-Up Showcase offers a proven, high-profile platform that helps early agri-tech businesses connect with investors, advisors, customers and collaborators. This year’s selected companies will be introduced to REAP delegates on the day.
