The Start-Up Showcase at our annual REAP conference is always hotly anticipated, offering a carefully curated line-up of some of the most exciting early-stage agri-tech ventures.
We keep the line-up for the REAP Start-Up Showcase under wraps until the day of the conference as it has been the launch-pad for some of the most exciting young companies in agri-tech.

Arlabion – an agri-tech company developing a novel seed treatment to protect crops against fungal infection.
Antobot – develops control hardware and software for intelligent mobile robots for sustainable agriculture.
BeeSecure – listens into bees’ conversations to ensure that the bees are happy, healthy and performing well.
Better Origin – produces AI-powered insect mini-farms, aiming to establish the ‘Internet of Insects’; a global network converting excess nutrients into essential nutrients.
Breedr – a productivity and marketing platform that is transforming the livestock supply-chain.
Farming Data – developing a digital platform that enables direct transactions between farmers and buyers through SMS and smartphone application.
Fieldmargin – makes it easy to create a visual record of your farm, to draw maps, make notes, leave messages for your team and more, with or without an internet connection.
FOLIUM Science – developed new technology that could eliminate or reduce the need for antibiotic use in the raising of farm animals.
Hummingbird Technologies – developed an innovative data analytics and artificial intelligence platform for the management of cereal crop health.
FOTENIX – tractor-mounted technology uses manipulated colours of light combined with embedded artificial intelligence to detect plant status.
Mantle Labs – crop monitoring platform from space providing daily updates with zero interference from clouds.
PheroSyn – develop and supply new types of insect pest pheromones for smarter and more sustainable pest management.
PBD Biotech – has developed a novel phage-based technology that detects and identifies within hours live bacteria that cause diseases such as bovine TB and Johne’s disease/ParaTB/MAP.
Small Robot Company – re-imagining farming in the robotic age by providing a service of small, precise and efficient robots that will replace the need for large machinery on the farm.
Willand Group – innovative inflatable livestock production facility that offers the optimum conditions for animal wellbeing and productivity.
Yagro – a software solution that helps farmers to manage their supply chain. It enables them to connect with suppliers and collect quotes, compare and order chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, fuel etc.

Xampla – creating replacement micro plastics from pea powder.
Zelp – developer of a cow wearable that partly neutralizes exhaled methane (now in partnership with Cargill).
MoA Technology – discovering the next generation of sustainable herbicide chemistries.
Nova Extraction – developed the world’s first industrial, off-grid, clean-tech extractor to extract flavours or fragrances from flowers, food and herbs in-field.
DryGro – studies and cultivates high-protein varieties, with a core aim of providing a sustainable animal feed alternative to soy.

The REAP Start-Up Showcase offers a proven, high-profile platform that helps early agri-tech businesses connect with investors, advisors, customers and collaborators. This year’s selected companies will be introduced to REAP delegates on the day.
