Are you certain that your crops are receiving and absorbing every nutrient needed to maximise growth and quality?
If you want to know if your crops are meeting their full potential, you can now find out by just analysing your grain!
In time for harvest 2020, the team behind the Yield Enhancement Network (YEN) have launched a new initiative called YEN Nutrition – to support those seeking to improve the nutrition of arable crops.
YEN Nutrition provides:
- Comprehensive grain analysis on all 12 essential crop nutrients
- Benchmarking of your crops’ nutritional performance for comparison with similar growers.
When used in conjunction with soil and leaf analysis, YEN Nutrition will reveal the final status of the crop and will empower growers to make the right nutritional choices to enhance their future crop yields, field by field.
It also shows average savings of £50 per field.
New and easy innovation – for any farm!

Membership of YEN Nutrition is open to anyone from the UK or abroad for any grain crop – cereals, oilseeds, or pulses.
About the Yield Enhancement Network
YEN began in 2012 to support growers in achieving the most possible from their crops. Administered by ADAS and supported by multiple corporate sponsors, it is now a well-known, collaborative industry initiative both in the UK and abroad. Over the years, the YEN has expanded to address cereal, oilseed, pea, bean and grass crop yield performance.
‘Share-to-learn’ is an essential maxim of the YEN. Farmers, agronomists and researchers working together and learning from each other to transform the future of their crop productivity.
Join Roger Sylvester-Bradley, Head of Crop Performance at ADAS, and David Clarke, Soil Scientist at NIAB, as we cover the results of 120 year long field trials, and the Yield Enhancement Network competition findings in this 25 minute podcast.
