Pollinator: The Three Rs of Plant and Animal Diagnostics: Rapid, Reliable and Robust (Enough)
Wednesday 13th February 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Advances in diagnostics for soils, crops and livestock can enable early rapid interventions and hopefully preventing disease or maintaining health. But tests need to be simple, cheap and reliable – false positives or the wrong sensitivity can lead to devastating and costly consequences.
New diagnostic technologies are enabling more accurate, rapid identification without the need to send samples to the lab with long waiting times. This event will explore the new innovations in animal and crop diagnostics to help inform early actions through rapid, accurate information.

Who should attend:
We’ve put together a programme for arable and livestock farmers to hear about the latest new technologies to help them establish disease, nutrition and overall health status of their crop, land or herd. This will be an opportunity for researchers and innovators developing new diagnostics tools to learn more about the market opportunities, the regulatory environment and the routes to commercial application. Those with products already available and on the market will have a chance to raise the profile of the benefits of their solutions and maybe find some new customers!
Booking & Cost:
This event is FREE for members of Agri-Tech East, and £35 for non-members. Please note the fee is non-refundable for cancellation within 5 working days of the event.
