Focus on Funding
Tuesday 15th June @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
It’s back – the 2021 edition of our popular “Focus on Funding” series – and it’s bigger than ever before!
We want to help you navigate the current agri-tech and agri-food grant funding landscape, find out about new opportunities and – importantly – meet new people who can help!
Join us to:
- Hear about Defra’s roll-out for their new Farm Innovation Funding Package
- Find out what’s next in the pipeline in the UKRI Transforming Food Production Challenge.
- Discover how your collaborations with industry or academia can be supported through funding programmes
- Learn how the UK is still eligible for EU funding to support agri-tech (yes, even after Brexit) – and how you can access the support.
If you are in the market to learn about grants for agri-tech innovation, join us to hear from the people who know!
It’s not just about the money
As well as an opportunity to learn about access to non-dilutive finance, we’re also offering a unique opportunity to access the collective expertise from across the Agri-TechE innovation ecosystem. From grant-writing support to IP advice, accountancy to recruitment, and marcomms to training – our network can provide all the support you need as your business grows.
We’ll be hosting a Live “Agri-Business Plaza” consisting of our agri-focussed commercial service provider members who will be showcasing their expertise and offering drop-in clinics to help your technology maximise its industrial potential and your business maximise its efficiency.
They can help you prepare and manage budgets and forecasts, compile R&D tax credit claims, find talent, provide you with legal advice, offer technical consultancy (around, for example, design or software), prepare and deliver marketing strategies and offer your business a place to grow among like-minded people with the facilities you need.
Is it only for new start-up tech businesses?
Absolutely not – everyone with a business or service designed to support agriculture and horticulture is welcome!
As businesses grow, their needs change. Our ecosystem has people who can help you from that first round of seed funding, to the launch of a new product or service in your existing portfolio.
