Agri-TechE International Missions: Missouri & UK Agritech Connect Programme

Thursday 29th April 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Missing overseas travel? Join us as we catch up with our friends in St Louis, Missouri, to talk agri-tech!

If you followed our exploits while in St Louis last year, you’ll have seen we visited agri-tech accelerators, discussed agriculture policy with regulators, learned about cutting edge technologies from one of the world’s leading agrichemical businesses, and went up a jolly big arch!

The reciprocal visit scheduled for June 2020 was postponed, so we’re meeting up on the 29th April 2021 for a catch-up, an update, and to continue the conversation about collaborations.

In partnership with the UK’s Department for International Trade and Missouri Partnership along with collegues at Great St Louis Partnership, everyone is welcome to join us for a virtual drink and discussions – and to hear from some of the businesses who visited the “Show Me” State on the agri-tech mission. Read the story to find out more about the opportunities in St Louis.

If you’re an agri-tech and agribusiness ecosystem leader company looking to do business in the USA, or a researcher looking for trans-Atlantic collaborations, we’d love you to join us on the 29th

For more than 25 years, as the international division of St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, World Trade Center St. Louis (WTC) has supported growth for the region’s businesses, most importantly, ensuring St. Louis companies are represented in an increasingly global marketplace. From customized research and training to hosting inbound and outbound delegations, WTC brings together a strong system of business and government agencies to support trade and investment and enhance St. Louis’ global connectivity.

39 North is 600-acre innovation district in St. Louis, MO anchored by the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, BRDG Park, the Helix Incubator, Bayer Crop Science, and the Yield Lab. At 39 North, we’re building and championing a place and an idea that, hundreds of years from now, history will celebrate as changing the world and forever improving the human condition. Both in St. Louis, and around the world.

Watch a short teaser from the delegation that visited Missouri in early 2020.
