DESCRIPTION:It’s an appealing narrative that certain agricultu
ral practices\, such as improving soil health\, ca
n enhance the nutritional quality of food crops. H
owever\, many internal and external factors can af
fect the levels of compounds in plants that influe
nce human health. This makes it a complex\, multid
imensional challenge to understand how changes in
farming practices might demonstrably improve nutri

being explored in the concept of One Agriculture\
, which Agri-TechE pioneered at REAP 2022 and whic
h was inspired by the WTO’s “One Health” agenda.\n
\n \n \n Join us as we explore the underpinning s
cience revealing links between farming practices a
nd food products\, and discuss the experimental re
search needed to validate claims around the influe
nce of how a crop is grown\, or an animal\, bird o
r fish is managed\, on overall nutrition and healt
h.\n \n \n \n We will consider topics including su
 stainable farming practices\, soil health\, crop d
iversity\, food production methods and their impli
cations for healthy diets. Bringing together persp

scuss current challenges\, emerging approaches and
how – if at all - agricultural practices can cont
ribute to improving nutrition and supporting healt
 hier\, more sustainable food systems.\n \n \n \n H
