Data Management – More Than A Numbers Game
13th April 14:00 – 17:00 GMT – online
Virtual models of the real world are helping farmers, growers and breeders understand the complex interconnections between crop, environment and markets.
Top fruit producer Bardsley England is using a ‘digital twin’ computer model to support its move to carbon neutral. Data collected on-farm – sprays, pruning events, satellite imagery, weather data, soil data – provide ground-truthing points, and are being used to create a virtual farm. This is used to provide predictions and enable data led decisions.
Its Ag-Tech Director will join speakers from the Earlham Institute, Consus Fresh Solutions, LiveTrace and Hummingbird Technologies to discuss recent advances in data management and how they are being used on the farm.
Agri-Tech Express – Bayer
20th April 2021 – 14.00 – 16.00 GMT – online
From imaging to data science, engineering to block chain, as well as seeds and chemistry, these are among the technologies on Bayer’s global wish-list. As the industry places even more emphasis on collaboration and co-development, Bayer’s Open Innovation Lead, Dr Phil Taylor, will discuss how to partner with Bayer.

Meet us in St Louis – Virtually!
29th April 2021 – 15.00-17.00 GMT – online
The vibrant agri-tech ecosystems between St Louis and Agri-TechE have mutual interested in technologies technologies that include robotics and automation; remote sensing and measurements; diagnostics as indicators of livestock health and techniques for accelerating seed breeding. Join us to discuss these and more with our friends in Missouri and find your next collaborative partnership.
Free to attend.
From Farmer to Pharma
12th May 2021 – 10.00 – 16.00 GMT – online
Cannabis sativa offers the potential for a high value crop within markets as diverse as pharma, construction and nutritional supplements. However, there are many questions unanswered – which plant parts are likely to be of greatest value? How is the business model going to work? What legislation is needed to unlock production?
We have invited key players from across the value chain to discuss what is involved in the broadacre and controlled environment production, the requirements for new variety development, processing solutions and needs, and also the regulatory requirements and potential routes to market.
