Small Robot Company

Small Robot Company

We’re an agri-tech start up commercialising a deceptively simple idea: small robots not big tractors.

We are building robots that will seed and care for each individual plant in your crop. They will only feed and spray the plants that need it, giving them the perfect levels nutrients and support, with no waste.

Our robots are being designed and built by farmers, for farmers.

The reveal of Harry at REAP 2018

Sam Watson Jones presenting in the Start-Up Showcase at REAP 2017

We’ve made tremendous strides with our small robots and are now launching our first commercial service. Little over two years ago, we unveiled our Small Robot concept at the AgriTechE REAP conference. Here, I introduced our sustainable farming robotics concept to this exclusive community of agritech enthusiasts – and then a year later again at REAP we showed our prototype Tom and Harry robots. REAP was exactly the right platform for us both to launch and then to raise our profile. Time and again, this relationship has proven its value. Through the support of AgriTechE and its highly engaged network, we’ve been able to drive strong visibility to create rapid traction and early customer engagement. AgriTechE has been the platform on which we’ve built our business.
