Norfolk Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (NFWAG) is pleased to be part of the Agri-TechE initiative. We are a charity providing advice to farmers and landowners on all aspects of conservation and sustainable farming practices.
We are led by a voluntary steering group of farmers and landowners and have over 300 members in Norfolk. We have over 20 years’ experience of working on conservation in Norfolk with an in-depth knowledge of agri-environment schemes, conservation, farming and Norfolk’s historic and natural environment. We provide a wide range of environmental and rural professional services to our members and partners. We provide advice on habitat restoration and creation, diffuse pollution and soil erosion, biodiversity net gain, woodland and hedgerow planting, grant funding and whole farm planning. We are also locally involved in two farmer facilitation groups and in development of the new ELMS scheme via a Test & Trial.
Through the Agri-Tech E initiative we are looking to grow our understanding of the opportunities that technology can bring to the field of farmland conservation.
