BioBridge was founded in 1989 by Mr Meredith Lloyd-Evans to focus on the issues of getting innovations into the market and keeping them there. It was built on Meredith’s experience of over 40 years in agricultural innovation chains, from veterinary medicine and animal production to crop technology, new foods and ingredients for health and wellbeing.
Over the past 26 years, BioBridge has worked on technology and regulatory assignments as well as commercial and business development projects for a range of companies, from start-ups to multinational, including European, North American and Japanese, for industry and trade associations and for Government agencies and departments.
In 1998 he co-founded Arcadia International (EEIG), a specialist agri-food consultancy, with expertise in Identity Preservation, economic impacts of innovation, segregation of raw materials and foods, supply chain analyses and other aspects of the entire food chain, and remains a Senior Associate.
Current work includes: an EU-funded project on marine biodiscovery; strategies for insect-derived proteins for food and feed; product-finding for pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic companies; and product safety and compliance oversight for a biomaterials company.
