Innovation Hub showcases digital agriculture
June 26-27, Royal Norfolk Show. A great selection of innovation will be on display in the Innovation Hub, near the main ring, next to the NFU stand. Do make a diary date to visit us. Read more here.
June 26th, ‘Digitising Industry’ CW International Conference
Lack of domain knowledge is a big obstacle for technologists wanting to enter the agri-food industry. To help overcome this 30Mhz, Breedr and Lettus Grow will be talking about their experiences of supporting digitisation in agri-tech in a session hosted by Agri-Tech East and chaired by Allia. We are following this up with a one-day introduction to agriculture for newcomers in September. Read more about agri-tech at the CW Conference.
In other news
Last month, we ran a sold-out event at Rothamsted Conference Centre looking at Controlled Environment Agriculture. If you'd like to see what happened at the event, including a recent white paper from Cambridge Consultants who spoke at the event, and video from Redfox, take a look at our short news story.
Range of jobs and student placements
We've had a lot of submissions lately to our Opportunity Zone (free for members to post in; small fee for non-members). In amongst the mix of technical, digital development, agronomy and marketing roles, there are also listings for student summer placements, and for organisations interested in hosting a student. Take a look on our site.
Member Discount to Urban Future Global Conference
The Association for Vertical Farming would like to invite Agri-Tech East members to their event, Unlocking the Power of Indoor Farming in Cities of the Future.
